Accessibility Statement
We are committed to making the medical appointment portal accessible to everyone.
Commitment to Accessibility
We continuously work to improve the user experience for everyone, applying relevant accessibility standards to ensure our portal can be used by the widest possible audience, regardless of their abilities.
Regulatory Framework and Compliance Status
This web portal has been built seeking compliance with the requirements of the Resolution 1519 of 2020 from MinTIC, which establishes the standards for all entities providing public services to the Colombian State.
These standards are based on the Colombian Technical Standard NTC 5854, which in turn aligns with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) at its Double-A (AA) level of conformity.
Implementation Measures
In addition to following the regulatory framework, we have taken the following measures to ensure the accessibility of this portal:
- The page semantics have been built using standard HTML5 and ARIA roles where necessary.
- Text sizes are relative, allowing the user to adjust their size from the browser.
- The design is responsive and allows for magnification (zoom) up to 250% without loss of content or functionality, exceeding the 200% minimum required by WCAG 2.1.
- The color palette meets Level AA contrast ratios in its standard themes.
- Keyboard navigation is logical and predictable.
- The portal respects and adapts to the user's operating system high-contrast settings to ensure maximum readability.
- Animations and transitions are reduced or eliminated for users who have requested reduced motion in their operating system or browser preferences.
Time Limit Management
We understand that some users may need more time to complete tasks. To protect your session's security without creating barriers, our application implements a notification system. Before your session ends due to inactivity, a contextual and non-blocking notification will be displayed with a "Keep session" option that will allow you to extend it easily, in compliance with WCAG guideline 2.2.1.
Contact and Feedback
